IntroductionThis one-day course is a mixture of communication theory, learning styles combined with looking at the importance of structure and balance and will cover the following important areas to ensure a professional and memorable presentation. It is a practical course by the end of which you will have given at least 3 presentations and have received feedback from your fellow delegates and the course director to enable you to improve and enhance your presentation skills.

  • Identify what resources you need and how to use them to best effect
  • How to communicate your message with impact to a varied audience
  • How important appearance of yourself and your material is
  • To be able to design your presentation activity according to your venue and audience
  • Identify pros and cons of technical and non-technical support material and media
  • Establish the correct structure and balance

Course feeCourses are funded for DCC participants.(excluding schools). For external customers a charge of £80.00 per day per person is made.
Cancellation fee

For Non-attendance on the day there will be a charge of £80.

For cancellations between 1-5 days prior to the start date there will be a charge of £60.

However, an alternative delegate could attend if appropriate for the course – please contact the Training Admin team for clarification.
