Inspirations II – Leading through Engagement

A leadership development programme jointly delivered by DCC and an external consultancy to meet needs at an individual, service and organisation level. A leading edge programme using the latest tools and coaching techniques.

It challenges individuals to raise their profile in the organisation and supports their self development into the high level leaders of the future.

This programme is endorsed by Phil Norrey and the Corporate Leadership Team (CLT) and delegates are nominated through CLT.

 

The programme will be built around the following:

Audit – Strength scope 360 based on positive psychology and confidence.

Inspirational Leadership workshop – an intensive 3 day residential where everyone has an opportunity to take on a leadership challenge, receive feedback on their leadership style and develop new ways of working.

One to one coaching – throughout the eight month programme delegates will have the opportunity to meet with an experienced management coach on three to four occasions to discuss in depth their developmental issues. This could include observation and feedback.

Individual and Group Challenge – the programme will include opportunities engage with different parts of the organisation and importantly outside parties.

Assessment by ILM (Institute of Leadership & Management) at Level 7 in Strategic Leadership – the programme will be accredited at Level 7 which is equal to a post graduate (Masters) assignment. Candidates will need to complete an assignment of approximately 5,000 words, involving research and feedback.
