Adult Provider Services

These pages are for staff working in Devon County Council Adult Social Care Provider Services:

  • Day and Residential Services for older people
  • Day and respite services for people with learning disabilities
  • Community Enabling for people with disabilities
  • Mental Health Community Services (DCC contracted staff)
  • Social Care Reablement
  • Domiciliary Care

(the information may also be of interest to staff in private, voluntary and independent social care provision).

The Workforce Development Team are here to enable adult social care providers in Devon to meet the needs of their service users; CQC outcomes; Devon County Council’s strategic commissioning needs for the future; and to support key national health and social care priorities.

Workforce Development supports staff in understanding these priorities and their relevance to practice; learn new knowledge and skills where necessary; transfer their learning to the workplace; and continue to reflect on their work and challenge themselves to deliver a truly personalised service.

Please use the pages on the right hand side to find out more about core training, induction, qualifications, service specific and transfer of learning.
