Some locations served by these Fare Cars are on existing local bus routes. Alternative transport provision is also available through community transport schemes, for those not on an existing bus route or with mobility issues that prevent them from walking to the nearest bus stop.

Significant disruption to services 3 and 93  – January to March 2024

From 2nd January until 28th March 2024 there will be significant disruption to bus services 3 and 93 as a result of two major road closures on the A379.

The A379 will be closed through Stoke Fleming for the whole of this period (2nd January to 28th March). Service 93 will be unable to serve Blackpool Sands or Stoke Fleming. A shuttle service will instead operate between Dartmouth and Stoke Fleming and there will also be alterations to the timings of service 93.

The A379 will also be closed in Modbury between the 8th January and 9th February. Services 3 and 93 will both operate to a temporary reduced timetable as a result of the disruption from both closures. Service 3 will be unable to serve Modbury and journey times will be increased as a result of the diversion. A shuttle service (3M) will operate between Modbury and Yealmpton to connect with the 3 service, with some journeys of the shuttle extending to Plymouth or Harraton Cross.

Please see our temporary timetable leaflet for details.
