When creating designs or assets for a DCC website you should ensure that:
- colour contrast between foreground copy and background colours/textures/images must adhere to the standards recommended by the W3C.
- any text that overlaps images has sufficient contrast or has a background colour applied to it to ensure it is readable.
- all page designs for different types of colour blindness
To test colour and contrast try tools like:
- webaim contrast checker or the webaim WAVE tool available for Chrome or Firefox
- Chrome Contrast Analyzer extension to ensure any text that overlaps images has sufficient contrast or has a background colour applied to it to ensure it is readable.
