Mental Health Masterclass with Natasha Devon MBE – Tuesday 21 February 2017
One in ten children and young people aged 5 to 16 has a clinically diagnosed mental health disorder and around one in seven has less severe problems. Our youth spend more time in school than they do anywhere else except their own home. School is one of the best places for both educators and students to become increasingly aware of mental health, mental health problems and mental disorders. However it is an area that schools naturally find a challenge to manage and support.
In this Masterclass, Natasha Devon will share approaches to supporting children with poor mental health, promote positive mental health and identify and address those with less severe problems at an early stage and build their resilience.
"Weeks run from Monday to Sunday. Please note that weeks without communications to schools are ignored and the links will go to the last week where a communication was made in this category."
