2017 additional items – statutory consultation

This consultation was held following the decisions made by the Exeter Highways and Traffic Orders Committee on 4 July 2017, details of the approved restrictions can be seen on the 2017 Consultation page.

These proposals aim to introduce minor changes to the residents parking schemes that have been recently introduced or agreed for implementation, to improve access and to improve parking options for local residents.

The consultation period ran between 7 September and 28 September 2017.

Objections and other comments have been summarised and reported to the relevant county councillors for approval. It has been agreed that the restrictions listed below will go ahead as advertised.

  • Plan A – Jubilee Road – extension to limited waiting bay outside No. 3
  • Plan B – Park Road – removal of No Waiting At Any Time outside the garage of No. 35 Polsloe Road
  • Plan C – Park Road – removal of No Waiting At Any Time outside No. 30 and extension of Residents parking bay
  • Plan F – Woodwater Lane – introduction of No Waiting At Any Time across property access to No. 21 and around the corners at the southern end
  • Plan G – Rifford Road – extension of No Waiting At Any Time to improve access to property No. 179
  • Plan H – Burnthouse Lane – introduction of No Waiting At Any Time across dropped kerb outside No’s 117-119
  • Plan I – Briar Crescent – introduction of No Waiting At Any Time outside No’s 187, 179, 173 & 165
  • Plan J – Ronchetti Way – introduction of No Waiting At Any Time at its junction with Shakespeare Road
  • Plan K – Chestnut Avenue – introduction of No Waiting At Any Time around junction with Access to Swan Bungalow
  • Plan L – Briar Crescent – introduction of No Waiting At Any Time around junction with Hawthorn Road
  • Plan M – Burnthouse Lane – conversion all exemptions to restrictions between Wonford Street and Chestnut Avenue are changed from zone S7 to S8
  • Plan N – Whipton Lane – removal of No Waiting At Any Time outside No. 8
  • Plan O – Lisa Close – addition of selected properties to the list of zone S7 eligible properties
  • Plan P – Fore Street – addition of selected properties to the list of zone N eligible properties
  • Plan Q – Pinhoe Road – addition of selected properties to the list of zone S2 eligible properties
  • Plan R – Topsham Road – conversion of selected properties from residents parking zone R to zone S8
  • Plan S – Lethbridge Road – introduction of No Waiting At Any Time at its junction with Hurst Avenue/Wilford Road
  • Plan T – Salters Road – introduction of No Waiting At Any Time at its junction with Salters Court
  • Plan U – Chestnut Avenue – introduction of No Waiting At Any Time around the turning head at the south-western end
  • Plan V – Shakespeare Road – extension of No Waiting At Any Time outside No. 3
  • Plan W – Regent Square – introduction of No Waiting At Any Time around corners outside No’s 19, 25 & 37
  • Plan X – Victor Street/Lane – introduction of Limited Waiting and Disabled Bay restrictions.
