As promised, we would be grateful if you could take a few minutes to complete a short survey about the numbers of staff receiving flu vaccination last flu season (September 2017 to March 2018). This is intended to help us plan for increasing levels of protection for both residents, carers and individuals cared for at home in 2018/19.

NHS England developed a flu toolkit which we circulated last Autumn. This included guidance on recording uptake of the flu vaccine in your workforce and it is still available online here:
https://www.england.nhs.uk/south/info-professional/public-health/infection-winter/. You could use this to collect staff uptake information before responding to the survey.
The collated survey findings will also be shared with NHS England who funded the provision of vaccines to health and care staff through national contracts with primary care services. The information will help all of us to support you in achieving good levels of vaccination among your staff in 2018/19.
