A group of scooterists from around North Devon will be gathering outside the Queens Theatre on their Vespas and Lambrettas this Saturday (28 October) to celebrate the arrival of Mod musical ‘All or Nothing’, which is coming to Barnstaple for the very first time from Monday 30 October to Wednesday 1 November.
‘All or Nothing’ is a musical set in the swinging 60s that tells the story of the band the Small Faces through some of their best known hits, such as ‘Whatcha Gonna Do About It?’, ‘All Or Nothing’, ‘Tin Soldier’, ‘Lazy Sunday’, ‘Here Come The Nice’ and ‘Itchycoo Park’.
‘All or Nothing’ is one of the many varied shows on offer at North Devon Council’s Queens Theatre, in a packed programme put together by Parkwood Theatres, who manage the theatre on the council’s behalf.
Executive Member for Leisure and Recreation, Councillor Dick Jones, says: “The Mod spirit is clearly alive and well in North Devon, so I hope everyone will come along and enjoy the show. There really is something for everyone in the new season’s theatre programme, including the Olivier award winning ‘Show Stopper – the improvised musical” on 25 November and not forgetting the fantastic pantomime ‘Beauty and the Beast’ which is on throughout the Christmas period.”
