Attention all mini-pirates – some free Easter fun has washed up at the Museum of Barnstaple and North Devon!

Climb aboard the museum’s latest Play Day, for some swashbuckling fun on Wednesday 12 April from 11am to 4pm. Enjoy some pirate-themed crafts and a treasure hunt quiz around the museum.

The activities run alongside the museum’s latest exhibition, ‘Forgotten wrecks of the First World War’, on display until 25 April.

Museum manager, Alison Mills, said: “We’re hoping to see lots of mini-pirates around the museum during half-term! Entry to the museum is free and there’s lots to see and do, making it a great place for families whatever the weather. You can finish your trip off with a cuppa and cake in our cafe and a browse round our unique gift shop.”
