Privacy Notice for Devon’s National Childhood Measurement Programme
The personal information will be collected by School Nursing staff and will be held by Devon County Council’s Public Health Department, school nursing staff, and for Reception aged pupils will be stored as part of their electronic child health record and used for the purpose of the National Child Measurement Programme and forms part of your child’s health record. Your information will be held securely and will not be disclosed to anyone other than those stated above without your permission, unless we have a legal reason to do so, for example disclosure is necessary to protect a person from suffering significant harm or necessary for crime prevention or detection purposes.
Devon County Council Public Health Department will retain information for 2 years, and Child Health Records will be retained until a child’s 25th birthday as set out in the Department of Health Records Management guidance.
