Zeal Monachorum – Definitive Map Review

The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 requires the County Council to keep the Definitive Map of public rights of way under continuous review, and to make modifications where it appears that routes should be added, amended, regraded, or deleted. A review is now open and currently being undertaken in the Parish of Zeal Monachorum.

A copy of the parish map showing the existing recorded Public Rights of Way is available below. Copies may be seen the Village Hall, Zeal Monachorum, County Hall, Exeter, or by contacting your Parish Clerk.

If you have any suggestions for unrecorded rights of way or upgrading existing rights of way in the parish supported by evidence, please get in touch and forward details of the proposed changes together with any relevant evidence by the 31st May 2016 to Mrs T Weeks at the address below.
