Parking for people with disabilities
To help meet the £50 million budget reduction required by Government spending cuts in the current financial year, we are looking to make savings of £73,500 from our parking budget. For the first time we are proposing making charges for the creation of disabled parking bays, access protection markings (a white line painted on the road to show there is a dropped curb for accessing parking), and essential visitor permits.
We would like to find out what you think about our proposals to implement fees and charges for these services. Please let us know what the impact of fees and charges might be. Before completing the questions please read all the accompanying information and Impact Assessment.
