Kentisbury & Trentishoe – Definitive Map Review Informal Consultation

The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 requires the County Council to keep the Definitive Map of Public Rights of Way under continuous review and to make modifications where it appears that routes should be added, regraded, amended or deleted. A review of the Definitive Map is currently being undertaken in the parishes of Kentisbury and Trentishoe.

We are now consulting on the investigation of several proposals for changing the Definitive Map in the parishes.

For more information please see the consultation schedule and maps below.

Maps showing existing public rights of way in the parishes and details of the proposals are also available for inspection by appointment with the Clerk of the Parish Council; at North Devon Council, Lynton House, Commercial Road, Barnstaple; and also at the Public Rights of Way Service, Lucombe House, County Hall, Exeter during office hours (Mon–Fri, 9.00 a.m.–4.30 p.m.)

If anyone has further evidence in support of or against the proposals shown or any additional suggestions to make concerning other alterations to the Definitive Map, please contact us by 30 November 2017.
