One of Devon County Council’s public health roles is to help Devon’s residents improve their health and wellbeing. They are in the process of buying a new Healthy Lifestyle Service which will provide advice, information and support to Devon’s residents who want to make positive changes such as:
• quit smoking,
• become more active,
• reduce the amount of alcohol they drink and
• eat a healthier diet.
These four factors contribute the biggest risk to a person dying early, and this survey focuses on how we can reduce them. It is also designed to find out how we can support people who want to change their lifestyles.
Public Health Devon wants to hear your views and ideas which will help shape what a new Healthy Lifestyle Service looks like in Devon. We want to ensure that a new service meets the needs of Devon’s residents and helps improve their health and wellbeing.
