Chittlehampton – Definitive Map Review Informal Consultation

The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 requires the County Council to keep the Definitive Map of Public Rights of Way under continuous review and to make modifications where it appears that routes should be added, regraded, amended or deleted.

An application has been received for the addition of a footpath in the parish of Chittlehampton, from the county road at Broadmoor Farm across the Downs to the county road, approximately 360 metres south of Watergate Bridge.

We are seeking your views and any relevant evidence in respect of the proposal.
