St James’s Place Charitable Foundation

The St James’s Place Charitable Foundation provides grants to support charities in the UK, with a particular focus on supporting disadvantaged children and young people under the age of 25. There are three themes:

  • Cherishing children – for projects supporting young people with physical or mental health difficulties or life threatening or degenerative conditions; young carers; young people who are socially or economically disadvantaged
  • Combating cancer – for projects supporting cancer patients of all ages
  • Supporting hospices – (not currently open for applications from individual hospices)

The foundation will consider applications from UK registered charities as well as special needs schools in the UK. The Small Grants programme provides up to £10,000 for capital items or revenue. The Major Grants Programme is currently closed.

Focus of fund/fund aims:

To improve the quality of life for children and young people in need as a result of disability or disadvantage
