Radcliffe Trust

The Radcliffe Trust provides grants from the bequest of Dr John Radcliffe to support classical music projects and the heritage and crafts sector. Not-for-profit organisations including Community Interest Companies and Charitable Incorporated Organisations can apply for funding through two schemes:

Music: for classical music performance and training, especially chamber music, composition and music education. The music education theme includes music for children and adults with special needs, youth orchestras and projects at secondary and higher levels, including academic research.

Heritage and Crafts:  for the development of the skills, knowledge and experience that underpin the cultural heritage and crafts sectors in the UK. This includes support for emerging craftspeople of high quality, craft and conservation projects and training, capacity building and the therapeutic benefits of skills development.

Grants are generally in the region of £2,500 to £7,500.

Application deadline:

Apply by 31 January 2024 for consideration in June 2024; apply by 31 July 2024 for consideration in December 2024
