Fund title: Children Survive and Thrive: Rise & Shine
Focus of fund/fund aims:
Funding for child-centred approaches to help make sure that all children have the best possible start, and become happy, healthy and confident individuals.

This is a new funding opportunity from Comic Relief focused on community action for early childhood development. The aim is to support child-centred approaches, and to make progress in addressing the comprehensive development needs of children during their early years, up to and including their transition to primary school. These child-centred approaches should be based on recognised good practice.
Funding is available for projects in the UK, Kenya and Malawi. The majority of UK grants will be up to £150,000.
Organisations that directly support families with young children can apply: Comic Relief predominantly funds charities. UK organisations must have a minimum annual income of £250,000.
