This table shows the lowest quartile house price over time for the council areas in Devon. A quarter of all house sales in a particular district and year were below this figure.
This gives an indication of the price of the cheapest houses available and may give a better indication of affordability as it is not skewed by very expensive properties.

This table shows the year-on-year percentage change of the Retail Prices Index (RPI). The figures have been rounded to one decimal place. For example, the RPI figure was 255.4 in January 2015 and 258.8 in January 2016 giving a change of 1.3% for the year to January 2016. This change figure is the type most widely quoted each month.
