NEW Provider Agreement: Early Years Funding for 2, 3 and 4 year olds

This Provider Agreement replaces the Local Conditions of Funding from 1 September 2017. The Agreement  sets out important information and guidance for early years providers about funding. This includes:

  • 2 year old funding
  • universal entitlement for 3 and 4 year olds
  • extended entitlement  (30 hours childcare) for 3 and 4 year olds
  • Early Years Pupil Premium
  • Disability Access Funding

Information in the Provider Agreement should help providers when planning their delivery models.

All funded providers will be contacted through the Provider Portal with the Provider Agreement and form. Providers should read the agreement and complete and return the Provider Agreement form to eyef@devon.gov.uk by Friday 14 July if they wish to continue to be funded from September.

There may be minor changes that are made to the draft agreement before September; these will be communicated to providers  so that they can decide whether they wish to continue to be funded. We do not anticipate that there will be significant changes.

The Parent Declaration Form and Disability Access Fund Declaration Form are both downloadable from the Early Years and Childcare Service website site so they can be  individualised and used by providers to collect the information that they will need to make a funding claim.
