Modern Slavery is happening today – do you know what that might mean?

MODERN SLAVERY IS HAPPENING TODAY IN NORTH DEVON & TORRIDGE – DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MIGHT MEAN TO YOU AND ARE YOU READY TO DEAL WITH IT?

The Community Safety Partnership has organised two briefings of how to respond when faced with a potential Modern Slavery issue. Modern Slavery is happening in our immediate area; local examples will be given at the briefings.

This bitesize workshop will help ensure:

  • You and your organisation / business are prepared and able to protect your reputation
  • You are able to spot the signs of Modern Slavery
  • You know what to do and how to report to the relevant authorities should you suspect Modern Slavery

This special bitesize briefing from trained professionals, is only 1 ½ hours and is designed to give local insight and build confidence

Monday 26th March 2018, 10am-11.30pm at Barnstaple Hotel, Braunton Road, Barnstaple, EX31 1LE.

Places are free but limited and can be booked by emailing communitysafety@northdevon.gov.uk specifying which date you wish to attend. Confirmation of your briefing place will be emailed to you in due course.
