Education of children in care – Virtual School Devon
We are committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for children in care as we are their corporate parents. The Virtual School supports all children in care who are living in Devon or who are looked after by Devon but living in another part of the country.
We aim to:
|Promote||High aspirations and excellent educational outcomes|
|Support||Children and young people, carers, schools and settings|
|Challenge||Anyone who does not deliver on our aspirations|
|Celebrate||All our successes|
The Virtual School team
Our team includes staff from a range of services working together to promote and support the education of children in care. You can find out more about those you are most likely to meet and how to contact them here.
We have also started producing a half-termly newsletter. The latest spring term 2016 edition can be seen here. If you have any items you would like to suggest we include please send them to us at firstname.lastname@example.org
