Digital Marketing Made Easy (for #SocEnts)
Date(s) - 14/01/2019
9:30 am - 12:30 pm
Think digital marketing is hard? Think again!
Good digital marketing comes down to getting the basics right and having a marketing strategy in place. This workshop is perfect for you if you want to make sure you’re getting the most out of your marketing efforts and have limited time to spend on getting your message out (whatever channels you use, digital or not). You will start to pull together an achievable plan to make your online marketing efforts targetted, less costly, less time-consuming and much more effective.
Over the 3 hours you will learn how to:
- Get clear about your strategic marketing objectives
- Stand out from the crowd
- Attract new customers
- Understand which digital marketing tools and techniques are going to work best for your business
- Understand factors that influence marketing success – especially online
- Learn about SEO and using it to maximise your online potential
- Develop your own digital marketing strategy and action plan
This 3 hour workshop is part of Cosmic’s Dose of Digital – a series of half-day workshops for social enterprises and community businesses, seeking to develop their digital skills and knowledge. We encourage every social enterprise seeking marketing/website support from Cosmic to start with this workshop. We can then give additional 1:1 support to eligible participants where necessary.
NB: we are running a Nuts and Bolts basic Facebook and Twitter workshop in the afternoon. http://bit.ly/2QwtlEC Book on both and make a day of it (lunch is NOT provided but there is a vegetarian cafe on site, or you can bring your own). Alternately, you can send along a colleague or volunteer who might be responsible for your social media posts, to the afternoon session.
Any questions about the workshop or the Enhance Social Enterprise Programme, please contact: Helen Vines, Cosmic – email@example.com
At this stage, we do not have any places available for partner organisations such as business support agencies, solicitors, banks or accountants, nor for private, commercial businesses. If you are not eligible for the Enhance Social Enterprise Programme, check out Cosmic to see what other events we are running for a wider audience.
The Heart of the South West Enhance Social Enterprise Programme is receiving funding from the England European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.
