CP666-09 Commercial Catering equipment and services.

Decision Taken:

To allow the current contract to lapse and not provide a replacement.

Summary of Reason(s) for Decision Taken:

An options appraisal was carried out and found that due to a reduction in spending and establishments closing down, justifying tendering for a new contract was not feasible.

Summary of Alternatives or Options considered and rejected:

To retender, join an established framework or allow the contract to expire. An exemption from tendering (Log 772) was raised and a recommendation to allow the contract to lapse was recommended.

There are no conflicts of interest in regards to allowing this contract to expire.
