The decision has been taken following an options appraisal being carried out and extending the contract being the most suitable option representing best value for money at this time.

The following options were considered in the options appraisal:
– Carry out an OJEU tendering process
– Call-off from a National framework
– Extend the current contract
– Allow the contract to expire and not replace
