This is the decision to award the contract for CP1070-14 – Road Weather Data Bureau Service contract for Devon & Plymouth Consortium. The period of the contract is for 48 months with an option to extend for a further 48 months following an OJEU EU tender process.

To award a contract (Subject to due diligence) to the below organisation(s) for the provision of the above contract. The contract will commence on 1st May 2015:

Summary of Reason(s) for Decision Taken:

The decision has been taken on the basis of supplier(s) achieving the highest overall score within a best value tender (optimum combination of whole-life costs and quality) in line with the European Procurement Directives award procedure of Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT).

Summary of Alternatives or Options considered and rejected:

A competitive process was undertaken from which two bids were received these were considered as part of the formal evaluation process.
