Officer Decisions

Chief Officer for Highways, Infrastructure Development and Waste - Meg Booth

Summary of Matter or Issue Requiring Decision:

Sandford School – Improve Retaining Walls

Decision Taken:

The Listed external retaining stone wall is failing and falling into the school playground. Under Structural Engineers instruction, we are to replace the supporting wall as it is unsafe. The Tenders have been returned and exceed the current funding approved primarily due to the nature of the build required for the location and to comply with listing requirements. This will be funded from savings on the Stoke Hill Infants re-roofing project.

Authorisation for capital budget switches.
