The County Council-owned land has been identified as employment land, with adjacent Park & Ride, in North Devon and Torridge’s draft Local Plan.

The land is held for “the purpose of promoting economic development or stimulating regeneration” in the County Council’s 2012 – 2017 Estates Strategy. No other economically, commercially or socially advantageous use of the land has been suggested or identified since.
