Temporary traffic lights will be introduced overnight on Bridge Road in Exeter during three evenings next week.
The temporary signals will be in place on the nights of Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 11pm through to 5am the following morning. The signals are needed to allow the contractor safe working space to remove sheet piles that were installed temporarily to stabilise the embankment supporting the road.
Anyone travelling on Bridge Road while the temporary lights are in place overnight should be prepared to expect delays. Pedestrians and cyclists will be able to access Bridge Road during this overnight period, although they may be marshalled through the works and are therefore urged to take care and follow instructions from site staff.
