I would like to request the following information under the Freedom of Information Act:
A list of all private mental health service providers funded by the council, including the unique Companies House number where possible, and how much funding they received from the council in 2017-18.
If the final figure for 2017-18 is not available, then a provisional figure or expected spend is acceptable – please label the figure appropriately. Similarly, if it is not possible to get a full list of all private mental health service providers funded by the council, then please give me a list of the top 10 providers who received the most funding in 2017-18. Where possible, please provide the unique Companies House number (for example, 00082548). If this is not available, please provide the rest of the information.

We have interpreted your request with regard to “funding” to include expenditure by Devon County Council in the commissioning of services from providers and the voluntary sector.
We do not hold information such as a Companies House number and, in a large number of cases, particularly with regard to the voluntary sector, the provider will not be a limited company in any event.
