Externally supplied software

Does the council use software or a system supplied by an external supplier in order to run and manage its online consultations and community engagement?

If yes,

Who supplies the software and/or system?
What is the annual contract charge (including any license fee)?
When will the contract be reviewed?
Will this contract be put out to tender?
Where will the contract be advertised?
Who is the officer currently managing the consultation and/or community engagement software or system? (Please provide contact details and if possible include the email address and telephone number)

Devon County Council does not use a system in order to run and manage its online consultations and community engagement and we therefore do not hold this information.

However, we can confirm that different services within the council use a selection of survey tools to collect information for online consultations. These tools include:

Microsoft O365 Forms – available to all staff, bundled as part of an ongoing contract that supplies the MS suite of O365 tools to the organisation.
Survey Monkey – standard subscription renewed annually

There are currently no plans to purchase a system in order to run and manage its online consultations and community engagement.  Should we ever in the future consider doing so, the contract would be advertised online at  https://www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk/
