I would like to request the details of namely the number, location and details of all locked Emergency Access Gates in existence in Devon that connects two public roads, yet prevent vehicular through traffic. From my own limited research I do not anticipate the number to be high.
Devon County Council has one in Devon on the local highway network in Old Elm Road, Honiton at the junction with Hayne Lane
We are aware of several locations providing emergency access to Trunk Roads and the Motorway Networks but Devon County Council does not hold this information and this should be requested from Highways England at https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/highways-england
