I wish to know when you plan to attend to surface water drainage problems in North Molton, particularly outside Rumbelows Cottages. Numerous complaints but no action.
The highway drainage cleaning in North Molton is carried out on an annual basis and the next planned drainage cleaning is 8 January 2018. The site in question is half way down a hill and does not represent a flooding site. This area is part of the Councils Jetter Programme, however due to the limited resource priority is given to drainage issues on the primary salting network and flooding sites.
