Please find Devon County Council’s response to each of the questions below;

  1. Please could you let me know, the number of homeless people’s tents (or similar makeshift accommodation, such as boxes) that were confiscated or cleared away by the council per month in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and each month so far this year.
  2. Please can you let me know what happened to each of the homeless people involved. Were they given accommodation by the council?
  3. What was the youngest age of a homeless person who this happened to each year?
  4. Please could you let me know details of any Public Space Protection Orders the council is proposing or considering, the dates they would be implemented from, the areas they would cover, the activities they would regulate or prohibit and the reason for their proposed introduction.

Please note that Devon County Council is not responsible for responding to homelessness, nor are we responsible for issuing and enforcing Public Space Protection Orders. Therefore the Council does not hold the information requested.
