We can provide the following information from Learn Devon:

During the 2013/14 Financial year we spent £1,059,640.44 on employment support for people with a learning disability (supporting 107 learners in 13/14 academic year)

During the 2014/15 Financial year we spent £1,408,601.52 on employment support for people with a learning disability (supporting 221 learners in 14/15 academic year)

During the 2015/16 Financial year we spent £1,271,563.73 on employment support for people with a learning disability (supporting 265 learners in 15/16 academic year)

We should clarify that this is money spent directly on these activities for people who have declared a learning disability.

We also have interactions with learners who do not declare their disability or who attend courses not specifically related to employment support but that lead on to employment support courses and/or lead into employment.

We should clarify that during the financial years 2010 – 2013, Learn Devon was using a different management information system which is no longer available. To access this data would require specialist support from the previous suppliers and significant work from our own staff greater than 18 hours and in all likelihood a significant cost in the previous suppliers time. We would also need to ensure the process was compliant with data protection requirements prior to sharing any of the data with a contractor with whom we now have no formal contract. Because of the significant work involved, both with Devon County Council staff and the previous contractor who would have be engaged, the cost of compliance would be unreasonable and we are therefore not obliged to provide this information pursuant to s. 12 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
